The tub is high quality inflatable structured PVC, the kind used in inflatable crafts for durability and longevity. It will last quite a while with proper care. It has the inlet and outlet for a chiller system built in,The tub is rather thin walled compared to similar inflatable ice baths, but it is just as sturdy. Inflatable PVC tubs like these are rated for below freezing temperatures, to a maximum of over 130 degrees Farenheit, so it can be a cold plunge or a mini hot tub, just not both within rapid succession. In use the tub can hold the advertised amount of water easily, and does insulate the temperature, hot or cold for hours afterwards, though I have not timed it to be sure. I have many health issues, so contrast therapy has become a very important part of my lifestyle, and this is a low profile tub that still manages to hold a lots of water.
This is a really great tub for the price. It inflates like a SUP and is surprisingly sturdy. It has pre-fab inlet and outlet ports so hooking up your chiller is easy.
I'm using ice at the moment but there are plugs for water in and water out to connect a water cooler to it, which I'm ordering now. It comes with a lid as well, so you don‘t have to dump the water and refill it every single time you use it. I’m going to cover it after each use and change the water every few days to every week or so.
This was so easy to setup. I had it all ready to go in about 15 minutes and I absolutely love it. It‘s the perfect size to manage as a single person. I am 5’8“ and it is easy to get into. Shorter people might need a stool to get in and out. Overall an excellent product for the price.
The tub is easy to set up, take down, and port around with the excellent carry bag. The thin walls allow a lot of water to be stored in it, yet they are still more than sturdy enough for ordinary use, and are chiller compatible. Overall, this is probably going to be my go to tub if I ever want to bring a cold plunge on a vacation.

When you drain the water from your ice bath, to extend the life of your next fill, we recommend washing the inside surfaces with warm soapy water.

Simply use a hose-pipe, a bucket or container, and add room temperature water. Once filled to approximately 70% full, you'll be ready for your first dip!
Later, we recommend adding ice or ice packs to reduce the temperature further. Our Pods are insulated top, bottom and sides, so will maintain the water temperature for longer than you'd expect!

The immersion in cold water constricts blood vessels and slows the flow of blood around the body, which combined with health complications, can cause your blood pressure to rise and give you a higher chance of cardiac arrest or stroke.

The most noticeable side effect of an ice bath is feeling intense cold, but other side effects of staying in an ice bath for too long are: - hypothermia, frostbite, tachycardia (fast heart beat), arrhythmias (abnormal heart beat), allergic and anaphylactic shock.

Despite the potential side effects and warnings, using an ice bath correctly actually has many health benefits! We will always recommend you begin by spending no more than a few minutes in the ice bath, and slowly working you way up to the recommended time, never push your body beyond its limits.
