• The temperature of an ice bath needs to be approximately 10–15° to make it effective.
• In the initial stage, you can choose to gradually plunge in the tub, such as 30 seconds each time, and gradually increase the time to help the body adapt to cold water.
• If the water temperature is 12°C, it is recommended to soak for 12 minutes; for lower than 10℃, adjust the time based on experience to ensure safety.
• It’s generally recommended to immerse your entire body in the ice bath to gain the best effect of blood vessel constriction. However, to start out, we suggest you to plunge your feet and lower legs. As you feel comfortable, you can move toward lower until to your chest.
• If you decide to take an ice bath at home, and the temperature is lower than your normal ice bath. It's better to have someone accompany. And if it’s too cold, gradually add warmer water until you reach the desired temperature.

Excellent water chiller for the ice bath setup.80-110 gallon water could be chilled to 44-47 F in roughly 4 hoursish. Once at that temp the chiller easily maintains the temperature with its auto chill feature. Once you go above your set temp by more than 2 degrees it kicks in to chill again to set temp. I am very pleased with this product and it's power. Ice bath sessions are amazing with the help of this efficient water chiller. I've gotten it down to as cold as 38 degrees. An interesting thing to note is that it appears to chill a bit colder than the shown temperature -this is according to my manual temperature gauge sent in by the Ice Pod Company. I am fine with this of course haha
